The Dragon’s Maze pre-release will be taking place at Brimstone Games in Windsor on April 26-28.  We have several events planned starting with our Midnight Pre-release at 12:00AM Saturday morning (midnight Friday).   This event will take place at the store, 3298 Walker Rd.  Seating  for over 60 players. 

 We are very pleased to announce that level 3 judge John Alderfer has again graciously accepted our invitation to come and hang out for the weekend and be part of our event.  John is one of the most respected judge’s in North America having worked over 30 Grand Prix events, multiple Pro Tours and World Championships.   John will be able to answer all the crazy rules questions you might have regarding everything from your commander deck to the newest mechanics for Dragon’s Maze.

1:00PM – Dragon’s Maze Two-Headed Giant Sealed deck tournament.  Entry fee is $48 per team of two.  We will play a maximum of 4 rounds then award prizes.  Pre-registration available.

6:30PM – Dragon’s Maze Pre-release sealed deck tournament.  Entry fee is $27.  We will play a maximum of 4 rounds then award prizes.

1:00PM – Dragon’s Maze Pre-release sealed deck tournament.  Entry fee is $27.  We will play a maximum of 4 rounds then award prizes. 

Wizards of the Coast has allocated us enough product for 180 total players.  Once we run out of product that will be it for the weekend.   Each round a player wins will earn that player 1 pack as a prize.  This should help spread prizes through the entire field and everyone will be able to take home some additional packs of Dragon’s Maze.  If you receive a bye, that counts as winning the round and you earn the pack.  If you and your opponent play to a draw, both players will receive a pack of Gatecrash.  Those players who win all 4 of their rounds will win an additional 5 packs each of Dragon’s Maze.

We will also be taking pre-orders for Dragon’s Maze booster boxes at the pre-release.  The cost is not yet set but will likely be between $94 and $97 per box.  Anyone who buys a box before May  11 2013 will be entered into a drawing.  On May 11 at noon, we will randomly select one name from all the entries for every 6 boxes we sell.  The winners will be able to take 1 judge foil (any judge foil we have) in our counter as his or her prize.  Each box you buy gets you an entry into the drawing.
